Professionals and private users

According to the current state of the art, a ventilation system in commercially operated hookah bar must exchange at least 130 m³/h of room air per burning hookah. Using a ShishAir® filter, the air volume can be reduced to 30 m³/h per guest and employee.

This means that ventilation systems in hookah bars can be reduced in size by up to 75%.

If, for example, 20 hookahs are smoked at the same time in a conventional hookah bar, the following minimum amounts of air must be exchanged by the ventilation system: 20 shishas * 130 m³/h per shisha = 2,600 m³/h of room air. If an average of 2 guests smoke a hookah at the same time using the ShishAir® filter, the air volumes are reduced to: 20 shishas * 2 smokers per shisha * 30 m³/h per smoker = 1,200 m³/h.

When used correctly, not only carbon monoxide is catalytically converted. The consumption of hookah charcoal is reduced by up to 60%, as only two cubes per hookah are needed instead of the usual three. In addition, the combustion of the charcoal cubes is slowed down, so that a replacement with new cubes during a smoking session can be omitted according to personal taste.
